Orthodox Christian Network presents a series of reflections on the war of Russia against Ukraine. Many internationally recognized scholars are discussing Geopolitics, History, and Religion issues.

Part two of the second in a series of conversations about the current conflict between Russia and Ukraine, with Dr. Sharyl Cross (St. Edward’s University), Dr. Nikolas Gvosdev (U.S. Naval War College), Dr. Elizabeth Prodromou (Tufts University) and Dcn. Dr. Nicholas Denysenko (Valparaiso University).

In this second half, Dr. Elizabeth Prodromou and Dcn. Dr. Nicholas Denysenko continue the discussion of geopolitical implications with an emphasis on the effects of this conflict on Orthodox Christians and Orthodox relations globally, and the use of religious and conservative political ideals to sway public opinion. Part two also includes final comments from all four participants.

The first in a series of conversations about the current conflict between Russia and Ukraine, with Dr. Gayle Woloschak (Northwestern University), Rev. Dr. Cyril Hovorun (Sankt Ignatios Theological Academy) and Katrina Straker (IOCC).

Scholars will approach this topic from a historical, political, theological and humanitarian perspective, with the goal of helping our viewers understand the situation, and how they can respond.
